Performance: Rockin' the Fillmore  1971 * * * * * (The album was released on Compact Disc in 1990) In 1971 both the Allman Brothers Band and Humble Pie made rock and roll history with their Fillmore performances.  When Humble Pie recorded Rockin' the Fillmore, guitarist/vocalist Steve Marriott and company left a legacy that'll be difficult to improve upon.  In one of the most powerful blues rock performances ever transfered onto vinyl Humble Pie carved out their slice of rock and roll pie with a chainsaw.
